Effective: 21 August 2026 · Provider: Misconfig Cloud LLC · Contact: contact@misconfig.cloud
1. The service
Misconfig Cloud provides a local runtime and hosted control plane for governed infrastructure-agent sessions, including signed session profiles, deterministic local policy decisions, approval and stop controls, redacted action receipts, session observability, and supported integration surfaces. Features may be preview, incomplete, or change during early access.
2. Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate information, protect your login and integration access, and use the service only for organizations, agents, repositories, cloud accounts, clusters, and environments you are authorized to connect. You are responsible for the actions of users admitted to your workspace.
3. Usage and limits
Preview access and any paid subscription are governed by the applicable written order. The intended subscription boundary is a governed cloud account, cloud project, cluster, or other expressly defined infrastructure scope. We do not currently publish a seat or token-based price. Limits, retention, support, and included scopes are stated in the applicable order or console before purchase.
4. Agent and production control
Misconfig policy applies only to a session launched through the supported local runtime with the exact device, profile, policy, adapter, scope, and credential mode shown in the console. Attach mode uses credentials already available on the customer machine and can be bypassed by using the original tooling outside the governed launcher. Misconfig does not guarantee control of activity outside its supported adapters and launcher. A policy decision is not proof that a provider accepted or completed an action. Independent provider verification is identified separately when available. You remain responsible for your production systems, agent permission mode, credentials, policies, approvals, and actions.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Misconfig to access systems without authorization, evade security controls, distribute malware, disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected service components, or submit data you lack the right to process. You may not treat model output as the sole authorization for a destructive or high-impact action.
6. Customer data and feedback
You retain ownership of customer data and grant Misconfig the limited rights needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for you. You represent that you have the rights needed to provide that data. If you give product feedback, we may use it without restriction or payment, without identifying confidential customer information.
7. Third-party and model services
The service may interoperate with AWS, Google, GitHub, Slack, model providers, and other third parties. Their terms apply to your use of those services. Agent and model output can be incomplete or wrong; review it in proportion to the operational risk.
8. Early-access warranty
To the maximum extent allowed by law, preview features are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, interception of every possible agent or tool path, or enforcement outside the exact adapter, launcher, policy, and credential boundary displayed for the session. Any explicit service commitment in a written order remains applicable.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Misconfig Cloud LLC's aggregate liability under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access to protect customers, the service, or third parties; address unlawful or abusive use; or respond to non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing terms and changes
We may update these terms as the service matures. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. If you continue using the service after the effective date, the updated terms apply. Contact contact@misconfig.cloud with legal notices or questions.
